  • What is the class schedule?

    Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday, and FrIday. Times may vary based on the campus. Speak with a school representative for specifics  regarding class times.

  • How is the 16-week dental assistant program structured?

    Students spend 12 weeks in class engaging in hands-on learning and the remaining 4 weeks in a dental office on externship.

  • What is externship?

    Externship is when dental students work in a dental office for free to earn hours of practice and gain real world experience. It  is a requirement to successfully complete the dental assisting program.

  • Is there a dress code?

    Students are expected to be professionally dressed in solid, all black scrubs and sneakers of their choosing (no crocs).

  • As a dental assistant, where can I work?

    Dental assistants have a wide variety of opportunities such as: dental office, dental lab, corporate setting related to dentistry, sales related to dentistry, travelling dental assistant, various dental specialty offices, temporary dental assistant (temping),  teaching dental assisting, or becoming entrepenurial (i.e teeth whitening, tooth gems).
